Written Meditation … Read slowly and Breath

How many more rounds do I have to walk
Before I finally catch my own tail
before I will say:  ‘enough now!’
enough is enough!
I am no fail.
And I am done fooling myself

Why all this suffering?
While I know peace
Why all the frustration?
While I know tranquility
Why all the confusion?
While I know….
How to break out the illusion

Why am I still fighting,
What for?
Was it worthy of my energy?
Has it opened a new door?
surrender the battle… and I lay down my arms
There is nothing to gain, nor to win
how do I expect something to grow when I chop it down,
even before the seed is about to sprout?

Being seperated from my divine self as result
Being divided within
Creating diffusion on the outside
back in the rollercoaster spin.
round and round
until I see. Continue reading Written Meditation … Read slowly and Breath

Be like the bee and produce honey

A bee is, whilst being
just bee-ing around
collecting nectar, because this is what he knows
this is how he is programmed
hopping from flower to flower
just being himself
living it’s humble life as a bee
all in service of his queen

During his life
the bee produces honey
not because he decided to do so,
But because that is the byproduct of his being
By taking care of the offspring of his queen
this delicious and sweet bee product is made Continue reading Be like the bee and produce honey

Who wants to Meetup?

Facebook and Instagram are two wonderful tools to show the world what you like and through what lens you see the world. They are amazing tools to be up to date about the latest trends, hypes and news and it’s also a convenient way to stay in touch with people.
Recently I got tipped about this new app called Meetup that got me curious. Meetup is an app other than FB or Insta. Instead of showing others what you like or what you are doing, you can actually invite them into your world,Into your hobby, or interest and do it together with them. I’ve found out that it is a beautiful way to connect with people from all different kind of backgrounds. There are so many things you can join. F.E. There are book clubs, movie clubs, Sunday morning breakfast clubs, dancing events, sharing circles, board game meetings. You name it and it’s probably there.

The beauty of life lessons

The profound life lessons we are learning are not so much written in words, nor can you find them in books. Although many have written about them in books. The wisest lessons we are learning, so that we can grow on a human level,  are from the interaction with others. It is in the difficulty and in conflicting situations that we start to think about how things could be different. Only when life becomes uncomfortable, we start to invent these creative solutions. It is quite interesting to notice that when things seem ok, life seems to stagnate. The opposite is quite true. The feeling of ‘nothing ever happens in my life’ could be a trigger to make different choices again, so that things start to flow. After all, Why should you move if all is right?  Continue reading The beauty of life lessons

I want you to know

Dear reader,

I want you to know that you are not alone. You are not helpless.
You might feel this way and that is oke.
I want you to know that with you there are many others who feel lost, who feel alone, isolated and misunderstood.
With you there are many others who question life, themselves, the status quo, society and existence on this earth.

I want you to know that you are being supported, once you allow to be supported.
I want you to know that you are loved, when you allow others to love you.
You are being understood once you understand yourself.
You are receiving answers whenever you find your peace inside the center of your body. Continue reading I want you to know

You are more special than you think!

The idea that spirituality is only for a select group of people stems from very old ideas about who was able to serve god. These ideas are still imprinted into our consciousness. When we have a religious or spiritual problem we go to our priest, rabbi, imam, guru, shaman, psychologist, for a solution. You tell them your story and you expect that they will come with an suitable answer. This is what they have studied for. It is their job.

The middleman is supposed to be the translator, the communicator between you and the divine. And it is true. Some people are better in making the connection than others. Some people have this gift, while others have many other gifts. Thank god these people are here to help others. Thank god these humans exist and offer their help so that the symbolical, universal language becomes understandable in human language. When spirit communicates with us, it could be through metaphors, symbols and dreams, but also through thoughts, feelings and visions (and many many other ways). When you really need to receive a message, you will receive it through the channel that suits you most. Eventually you will understand the message.
