Who wants to Meetup?

Facebook and Instagram are two wonderful tools to show the world what you like and through what lens you see the world. They are amazing tools to be up to date about the latest trends, hypes and news and it’s also a convenient way to stay in touch with people.
Recently I got tipped about this new app called Meetup that got me curious. Meetup is an app other than FB or Insta. Instead of showing others what you like or what you are doing, you can actually invite them into your world,Into your hobby, or interest and do it together with them. I’ve found out that it is a beautiful way to connect with people from all different kind of backgrounds. There are so many things you can join. F.E. There are book clubs, movie clubs, Sunday morning breakfast clubs, dancing events, sharing circles, board game meetings. You name it and it’s probably there.

Sound Healing Session

Have you ever wondered why people become so happy from funky and ecstatic music? 

When we hear music we tend to start moving. We move on the beat or the melody and it makes us feel a certain way. Whenever we feel melancholic, sad music can do wonders to deepen the sad feeling. Until we had enough of the sadness and turn the music off. Usually our mood improves after 😉 On weddings or on funerals, the music is one of the most important ingredients for an successful event. On a party the DJ is the center of attention and a good DJ can alter the mood of the whole party. Many times after a concert we a joyful and free feeling. As if we are children again for a moment.

As you can see, music has a great influence on our well-being. It influences us on many emotional and mental levels. Also on a physical and energetic level it has a big influence on us. Music has the ability to change our moods. It can uplift us, it can bring us down, through music we can get in trance. Music can encourage us and it can motivate us to move forward or to dance. Simply said music has the ability to change our state of mind. It is therefore a wonderful tool to alter our reality into happy and joyful situations, without the use of any substance. Two Shoes from the Cat Empire: a hidden perspective!

One of the things that makes my life worth living, is music. I wake up with it, I listen music while biking, when I am alone and when I am with friends. When I am sad and when I am happy. While partying and while working. There is always music in my life.

My taste of music is quite broad and that is why I’m so much in love with the music of The Cat Empire. They’ve mixed up many genres, tunes, instrument, styles in a miraculous collection of songs. Personally I believe they are geniuses. Their Funky sounds and their great melodies always give me a lot of power and energy.  The words of their songs always teach me some kind of wisdom. When I hear a tune I can’t help myself….I just need to move.
